INARUWA: Two persons lost their lives while undergoing treatment of elephantiasis at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) and six persons are in sickbed.
The deceased have been identified as Draupadi Chaudhary, 70, of Hariharpur of Chitwan and Mansur Khatun of Boriya.
Problem surfaced after they were administered anti-elephantiasis drugs by the government by mobilising health workers in villages, said victim family members.
