Number of Mobile phone users in Nepal had cross 1 crore. According to Nepal telecom total number of Mobile phone users in Nepal are 1 crore 41 thousand 4 hundred and 11 until January 2011. Most of the users are of Nepal telecom followed by Ncell.

        According Nepal telecom Number of NTC (Nepal telecom) users has increased by 12lakhs with in a year. on last January number of NTC users were 55lakhs 60 thousand. With in it number of GSM user of NTC has increased from 36 lakhs 29 thousand to 46 lakhs 99 thousand. Like wise number of CDMA NTC users has increased form 6lakhs 20 thousand to 8 lakhs 70 thousand.

      Number of Ncell users had increased tremendously. Until last January number of Ncell users was 22 lakhs 70 thousand now until January 2011 numbers of Ncell users are 44 lakhs 72 thousand. That’s double the number then that of previous year.

             Number of mobile users in Nepal has increased by 12%. Last year percentage of Cell phone users were 23.68% now about 38.13% of population are using cell phone.
